Intel this week launched its new Xeon 5500 series, which were previously known like Nehalem-EP, with a handle of new mobile pieces of duet of core 2 built around the core of 45nm Penryn. After the release, Intel announced updated lists of the prices reflecting the new central processing units of treatment.
The evaluation for new Xeon notches the range of $188 for E5502 of line entry (hiding-place of 1.86GHz, of 4MB L2, 80W) on up to $1.600 for the flagship W5580 (hiding-place of 3.2GHz, of 8MB L2, 130W). A total of 12 new 45nm Xeons was added in all, covering just about each point of the prices.
On before mobile, four new mobile pieces of core 2 were added, beginning with the core 2 SU3500 solo (hiding-place of 1.4GHz, of 3MB L2, 5.3W) for $262. Other pieces include duet SU9600 (1.6GHz, 3MB, 10W) of core 2 per $289, dig 2 duet SL9600 (2.13GHz, 6MB, 17W) for $316, and dig 2 duet SP9600 (2.53GHz, 6MB, 25W) for $316.
